Spring Training report, Cleveland Indians.

The Cleveland Indians have been a on and off team for the past few seasons.

They get off to good start, making you think that they're in it to win it, then the Indians usually fall of the radar.

Last season wasn't very good for the Indians. Ranking near the bottom in many offensive categories including 13th in runs and OPS. While the pitching staff didn't prove any better, holding up an American League worst 4.78 ERA and giving up the 3rd most hits.

Over the winter Cleveland was able to bring in some decent arms in Brett Myers, Dice-K, Scott Kazmir and prospect Trevor Bauer from the D-Backs. Kazmir has actually been reported as pitching well so far this spring.

The Indians also came home big winners this offseason with the signings of top outfield free-agents Nick Swisher and Michael Bourn.

While still losing Shin Soo-Choo in a trade with the Reds, the Indians are currently stocked well with outfielders in Michael Brantley, and Drew Stubbs. Along with Swisher and Bourn.

When Spring Training first started it was unknown who would DH for the Indians but it now stands as Jason Giambi and Mark Reynolds as likely options.

Overall the Cleveland Indians are a team that in 2013, they're going to score a good amount of runs; but with the pitching in its current state they're also going to be giving up a lot of runs as well.

And I'm certainly sure that their pitching isn't good enough to keep them close with the Tigers and White Sox, and even the Royals.

Cleveland got better this offseason. Not a lot better, but slightly better with the additions of Swisher and Bourn.

The Indians lost 94 games last season, and I think they could easily lose another 85 games this season.
