Twins sign Mike Pelfrey.

The Minnesota Twins and free-agent P Mike Pelfrey have agreed to terms on a 1-year, $4M deal with $1.5M in incentives.

Pelfrey was non-tendered by the Mets this offseason and is coming of Tommy John Surgery and is expected to be ready to pitch by Opening Day.

The righty has spent his entire career with the Mets and had drawn  interest from other teams this offseason including the Mariners, Pirates, and Indians.

Even with the trade to Twins are still expected to try to aqiure more starting pitching to help their rotation.
