Marlins eyeing Tejada, Palonco, Inge.

Accord to ESPN'S Jayson Stark the Miami Marlins have been checking out Miguel Tejada in winter ball. The Marlins are not pleased with the very thin 3B market and have also kicked the tires on Placido Palonco and Brandon Inge as reported by Stark.

Tejada signed a minor league contract with the Orioles in May but didn't play in the majors this past season. He last played in the MLB in 2011 with the Giants hitting .237 for San Francisco. The D-Backs also offered Tejada a minor league deal this offseason.

Palonco has had a quiet offseason after having a down year for the Phillies hitting .259 and missing some time due to injury. Philadelphia declined his $5.5M option this winter.

Some goes for Brandon Inge, who posted a .218 avg, and 12 HR this season for the Tigers and A's. The Athletics have also not ruled out resigning him.
