The Arizona Diamondbacks and OF Cody Ross have agreed to terms on a 3-year, $26M deal with a $1M buyout for a 4th year club option.
Ross had been drawing interest from a few teams including the Redsox, Mariners, Phillies and Rangers. But the D-Backs were able to land the OF'er coming in as a surprise to many.
Ross who hit .267 with 22 HR in 2012 for the Redsox will join a crowded outfield in Arizona with Justin Upton, Jason Kubal, and Geraldo Para making Kubal now a very likely trade canidate.
