According to reports by Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports, the Texas Rangers and 1B/OF Lance Berkman have finalized a 1-year, $11M deal with a possible vesting option.
After losing JoshHamilton, Mike Napoli, and Micheal Young this offseason, Berkman brings in a good bat to Texas to fill into their lineup.
Berkman missed alot of the 2012 season playing only 25 games due to a tear in his knee. He has also been getting interest from the Redsox, Astros, Yankees, and Orioles.
