Cubs front runners for Edwin Jackson.

According to ESPN's Jim Bowden the Chicago Cubs are currently the front runners to land free-agent SP Edwin Jackson.

It was reported on Tuesday that the Cubs and Rangers were the top canidates to land Jackson after the Padres dropped their Chase be cause of the rising lenght in years and price. The Indians have also reportedly talked to Jackson. Bowden expects a deal in the range of 4-years, $52M.
